For those who need an adrenaline rush to go along with your vacation, these are the destinations for you.

RUNNING OF THE BULLS, SPAIN

It began as a way of transporting bulls through the small town of Pamplona. Now thousands of people participate with hundreds injured each year.  The adrenaline rush you get while running from a 1000lb raging bull.

FREE DIVE AT DEAN’S BLUE HOLE, BAHAMAS

It sounds like a vacation spot in the Bahamas, but it’s just a dark, deep blue hole. It’s reportedly 660ft deep, and no man or women has ever reached the bottom. Make sure you’re an experienced free diver before taking a plunge.

CHANG KONG CLIFF ROAD, CHINA

Imagine walking on wooden boards that were nailed together more than 700 years ago. You are strapped in just in case you take a wrong step, but there is plenty that can go wrong on this perilous trail.

WING WALKING, UNITED KINGDOM

A must for the ultimate thrill seeker. Strapped to the top of an older biplane, get ready to fly at around 130mph. This is the ultimate extreme sport.

LA QUEBRADA CLIFF DIVING, MEXICO

When it comes to cliff diving, you have levels of difficulty that range from easy to professional.  Measuring as high as 136ft, this location is for professionals only. If you are brave enough to try, watch the locals before attempting yourself.

HARBOUR BRIDGE CLIMB, AUSTRALIA

Not the scariest on the list, but it will make you think twice about what you are getting yourself into. Walking on top of a bridge, while cars are speeding below will excite (or terrify) anyone.

MOUNTAIN BIKING, BOLIVIA

Those looking for a treacherous and exhilarating bike route should visit this world famous path. This ride is not for the everyday biker. Make sure you are ready for uneven surfaces, tight paths and the occasional city bus that almost forces you over the cliff.

WATER BUFFALO RACING, INDONESIA

A long standing tradition that attracts tourists from all over the world. Make sure you’re prepared to get covered in mud from the wet rice field. The competition is so dangerous that insurance is required for spectators in case the buffaloes get out of control.

SWIMMING WITH GREAT WHITE SHARKS, SOUTH AFRICA

Yes, you can swim with sharks all around the world, but nothing beats Cape Town. You are guaranteed to run into a couple male great whites ranging from 12-15 feet long. You can stay inside the cage for protection, but the truly brave venture into the water to be one on one with the apex predators.

BEEHIVE ROCKET FESTIVAL, TAIWAN

Most people run away after lighting a firecracker. In this festival you are in the middle of them shooting off around you. The famous beehive contraption contains thousands of rocket bottle rockets and once ignited you have no idea what direction they will shoot at. Wear a scarf and face protection for your own safety.
